Position: Post Basic Pharmacist Assistant
Location: Centurion, Gauteng
Position Purpose: To ensure the accurate processing of medicine claims according to client specifications.
Experience: Minimum of 1 year experience with capturing medicines in a DUR/PHB environment with 2-3 years previous working experience within a Managed Care environment (Essential).
Qualifications: Post Basic pharmacist Assistant. Registration with SAPC. Key Performance Areas
- Provide Quality services to members and providers
- All medicine queries completed timeously
- Ensure all applications and request are captured timeously
- Accurate Capturing of new prescription, acute and chronic medication or private claim
- Correct handling of rejection within SOP and Formulary items and authorisations
- Support management with tasks and initiatives beneficial to the sections and Schemes
- Assist with tracking
- Claims – submission codes, pricing and reference pricing
- Scheme option and benefit design, scheme and funding rules
- Outbound calling projects
- To assist principal Pharmacist with clinical application and prescription reviewing
- Chronic and Prescribed Minimum Benefit Authorisations
- Provide Quality services to members and
- All medicine queries completed

- Support management and other managers in tasks and initiatives beneficial to the sections and
