Ensuring confidentiality, coordinated care, support and risk management
The Private Health Administrators™ (PHA) HIV/AIDS Management programme is managed in the same personalised manner as our other programmes where individual care and support is given by Registered Professional Nurses trained in disease management and HIV/AIDS counselling.
PHA provides scheme management services such as adherence monitoring and registration of benefits. PHA can also provide a suite of corporate solutions such as educational programmes and voluntary testing and counselling.
PHA has created a comprehensive HIV/AIDS Education and training programme which provides on-site personalised workplace education sessions followed by identification through a confidential Voluntary Counselling and Testing (VCT) programme and the ongoing support of vulnerable employees.
PHA assists employees by identifying and referring those who are infected with, and affected by, HIV/AIDS to the appropriate health care provider/s in the community for treatment. PHA can provide ongoing psycho-social support with a view to creating a caring and informed environment in the workplace.
